Having left my pursuit of a medical degree in 2008, bringing my vision and passion into focus had seemed like an insurmountable challenge and there was this vacuum leaving med school created in me that I sought to fill. Even after completing different programs and accruing lots of related certifications, my “inner self” remained insatiable—I still felt empty.
Interestingly, as I drew closer to God over the years, I noticed that I was changing gradually from the inside; the more I allowed God into my life, the less empty I felt. So, I decided to live more intentionally and be all in for Christ and I am happy where I am today. In hindsight, even if I had become a medical doctor, I would not have gotten the satisfaction I yearned for as it is something only God can give.
The name “infusion” is really about the infusion of God, not only into our daily lives as Christians, but also in our career and lifestyle so as to enable us live a balanced life here on earth. I came up with this website because God came through for me when I had questions and needed answers and I thought to share my knowledge, experiences, as well as testimonies with you all. I do not have all the answers—in fact I am still seeking more answers from God—but I hope and pray you find some of the answers to your questions as you navigate this website.
Enough of the serious talk! The name Bimbsons is from Abimbola (meaning born with wealth). I only have two names I go by: Olanike and Abimbola. I chose Bimbsons for the website because I think it sounds cool.
So, I love soccer, dancing, wrestling, car racing, and anything musical—I am from a family where everyone plays at least one instrument. I love visiting places too (but I don’t like airports at all). I have a love-hate relationship with food, and lastly, I am the only girl among 5 brothers.
